A Story Written in Wood
In 1953, a small saw mill opened in Dindigul. Our founder Hansraj Kanji Patel brought the town its first mechanised sawing unit, and others soon followed.
From that single mill, we grew into multiple sawmills, timber trading, wholesale and plywood, then into logistics, storage, packing and textiles. Wood has always remained at the centre.
Our belief has never changed: quality begins with care. Today, a new generation carries it forward with modern systems, wider sourcing and a sharper focus on the customer.

Sri Ram Group is a Dindigul-based house of wood. Since 1953, we have supplied logs, sawn timber, plywood, doors, frames and furniture to builders, manufacturers, artisans and homes.

Milestones of a Growing Legacy
Sri Ram Saw Mill is founded in Dindigul.
Dindigul's first mechanised sawing and cutting unit is installed. Others follow.
The group enters timber trading as a pioneer.
Sri Vishnu Timber is established, focused on wholesale timber trading.
Sree Bhagvan Enterprises begins (formerly Sri Ram Tiles).
Sri Ram & Company is established in the timber trade.
